    Featured Artist: Allen Brasington

    This October, as part of our Season of the Deer celebration, the Gallery is proud to feature the photography of Allen Brasington. His remarkable images take us from the icy wilderness of Alaska and Canada to the vast plains of Africa, capturing wildlife in their most striking and intimate moments.

    Allen has a way of seeing that goes beyond the lens—his photos don’t just show animals, they tell their stories. From the steady gaze of an owl to the playfulness of a bear cub or the quiet strength of a resting lion, his work invites you to slow down, look closer, and feel the connection we share with the wild. This exhibition is both a celebration of nature’s beauty and a reminder of why it’s worth protecting.

    All photographs in the exhibit will be available for purchase to help raise funds for the Gallery.

Interested in being Featured?

Our Featured Artist/Exhibit program aims to bring attention to outside Artists and their work and introduce them to our community, and may also include things like book signings, workshops for teaching artists, lectures, panel discussions, etc. Artists who wish to be considered for this program

  • Must have an active following and verifiable sale or gallery exhibition history (awards and continued art education are a plus)
  • Must live within reasonable driving distance of the Gallery for art drop-off/pick up and various promotional events related to the exhibit
  • Pledge to promote the exhibit and related events on social channels and website to encourage collectors and fans to attend
  • (optional but recommended) Are willing to teach a workshop or provide a lecture/demo in conjunction with Feature
