We’re pleased to feature Florida artist Sean Mullins as our Featured Artist for February 2026 at the Gallery. Sean is a Florida-based oil painter whose work reflects a strong understanding of light, color, and composition. Many artists in our region know Sean through his teaching, including workshops held in Melrose and throughout North Florida, where he has helped students build confidence and clarity in their oil painting practice.

Oil Painting Workshop Friday, June 12
These workshops focuses on a wet-on-wet oil painting approach, guiding students step by step from a blank canvas to a finished painting in a single session. Sean’s clear, supportive teaching style makes this workshop a great fit for beginners as well as artists who want a structured introduction to oil painting.
All supplies are provided except paper towels and baby wipes. If you prefer a premium canvas to student-grade, feel free to bring a 16″ x 20″. Participants will leave with a completed painting and a solid foundation in oil painting basics, including color mixing, brushwork, and composition.
