We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities to fit your interests and schedule. You could assist with event planning and coordination, help with fundraising efforts, provide administrative support, help set up and break down for events—the options are nearly endless! Current Volunteer Opportunities:
- YAL Assistant — This position requires 2-to-3 hours on the 4th Saturday of each month, beginning at 9:30 am. You would be assisting our YAL instructors in their monthly class, helping set up before class, break down after class, and assist students as needed while class is in session.
- Maker’s Market Attendant — Represent the Gallery at the Maker’s Market across the street one Saturday each month in Olustee Park and attend the GAG table/booth, handing out flyers and talking to visitors about the Art League and the Gallery. Includes setting up and breaking down table or tent.
- Food Committee Coordinator: Contact volunteers prior to events to make sure we have enough food for upcoming events, and coordinate with our Curator for delivery or setup.
- LEAP Assistant — Call parents and guardians of kids in our LEAP (Literacy Education Art Program) once per month, to remind them of the upcoming class and keep a tally of how many are planning to attend. Assisting with check-in and helping students in class with tasks assigned by instructors.
