Consider becoming a sponsor to promote the arts and improve the quality of life in your community. You can donate right from your couch! We are a 501(c)(3) charitable community arts organization—your contributions are tax deductible.
If you shop on Amazon, you can help by donating through our Amazon Wishlist—we are always in need of various supplies and necessities. Thank you so much for your support!
Below are some of the goals your generosity helps us achieve in our community—YOUR community!
Youth Art League — Monthly art program for kids ages 7-18. Art supplies are funded by Clay Electric, and your generous support helps cover overhead and other operating costs associated with the program.
Altrusa Kids – A grant-funded program that helps young children in Columbia County’s public school system improve literacy scores through art education. Your support helps fund costs for overhead and essentials that are not covered in the grant.
Young Da Vinci – Our annual 3-day summer art program for kids ages 8-12. Your donations help fund this free program for children in our local community.
Jingle Jangle – Our annual holiday art program for kids ages 6-9. Your donations help fund snacks and other operating costs associated with the program.
Veterans Art Show & Exhibit — In partnership with local veteran organizations, we host a semi-annual art show for veterans in north Florida and southern Georgia, along with an opening reception and month-long exhibition.
Free community plays and performances — In cooperation with UF’s Driveway Theatre Project, we host free live theater events in our intimate Gallery setting. Your support helps us with set decorations, reception supplies, food, and other incidentals that help make these community events a success.
Community art classes & workshops — Local artists teach through the Gallery, helping to educate and entertain through art and related media. Your donations help to keep the lights on, the doors open, and the supply closets full!
Various community outreach efforts — We occasionally raise funds for artists in our community who are ill or experiencing hardship, to help alleviate their financial burden during hard times. Funds raised during these events go directly to the person in need. Donations made through our website help us to host receptions and cover costs related to these events.
We are currently working on getting funding for an art therapy program geared toward veterans and their families. Art has the capacity to heal and we want to be able to help our community and our veterans experience these benefits.
