Karen Thurston is an acrylic painter from Alachua, Florida, who loves capturing the beauty and spirit of the natural world. From glowing sunsets over the water to delicate flowers and dreamy landscapes, her work is all about celebrating color, texture, and the ever-changing moods of nature.
Her talent hasn’t gone unnoticed—Karen’s painting Autumn Reflections took home third place at the Winter Art Show at the Gateway Art Gallery. An outdoor enthusiast at heart, she brings her love for the environment into every piece she creates. Through her art, Karen invites people to slow down, look a little closer, and share in the wonder she finds all around her.
