Does art speak to you? It does to the artists at the new “Art of the Matter” exhibit now on display through January at the Gateway Art Gallery. Thirty members of the Art League of North Florida have loaned original artworks (including paintings, photography, sculpture, music, mixed media, and pottery) showcasing art that is meaningful to the artists that created it. Some of the pieces are 50 years old. Each piece of art has the “story” posted with it. The stories reveal more about our artists to help us get to know each other. For some reason, these artworks were an inspiration to our artists. We welcome you to look it over and find some inspiration yourself.
