The Gateway Art Gallery hosts a themed art exhibition for members each year, typically in the Spring. The theme is usually something unique or challenging, in an effort to stretch the talent and imagination of our artists. This annual tradition has become an artist-favorite event. All ALNF members are eligible to enter, including YAL. Work must meet the show’s entry requirements and be family friendly.
Entry requirements
- Must be a current member of the Art League of North Florida (incl. Youth Art League)
- One (1) entry per person
- 36″ size limit, 15 pounds weight limit
- 2D entries must be framed and wired for hanging; or gallery wrapped and/or painted around the edges if on canvas.
- 3D entries that are free-standing must be able to stand alone without assistance.
- Ineligible for entry: AI-generated artwork (you may be asked to verify your process if questions arise); kits and mass-produced prints; artwork created wholly or in part by another artist; artwork based on another artist’s photo or original work (this includes artwork made in class); artwork featuring subject matter unsuited to a family-friendly audience; artwork that is not properly prepared for display (unwired if hanging, wobbly or dangerous if free-standing, etc.)
- NO early drop-off. If you can’t make the drop-off date, please make arrangements with a friend or family member to bring your entry to the Gallery. We do not have storage space for entries dropped off early.
- Artist must have w9 on file at time of entry if selling artwork. Gallery retains 30% of all sales made from the show.
