We had a great turnout for our Art League Members’ Meeting and Luncheon on September 29th. A big thank-you goes to Chick-fil-A Lake City for generously sponsoring the boxed lunches enjoyed by all.
Our guest speaker was Kate Duong, Assistant Director of the Columbia County Public Library, who shared about the many free resources, services, and community activities available through the library. Her talk was a reminder of the important role the library plays in keeping our community connected and informed.
To close out the afternoon, members and guests took photos with our entry in the Hearthstone Botanical Gardens Scarecrow Contest—“Edgar Allan Scarecrow.” It was a wonderful day of food, fellowship, and inspiration. 47 people were in attendance. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
