Field Trip Time! Working with Helen Beatty, art educator of the Columbia County Schools, 36 elementary students from Niblack had a field trip to the downtown Art League of North Florida/Gateway Gallery in Lake City. Curator Shelia Carr with area artists Carol Cieslik, Laura Hunter-Null, Cindy Sleezer, Sandy Glover, Fran Thompson, and Susan Larson co-ordinated the event, which included an introduction to the history, genres, and importance of art across the ages. Sandy and Cindy painted faces for all the children.
