ATTENTION: Unfortunately, we have not yet met the minimum sign ups needed to conduct the bonsai workshop, so we are postponing it and setting a new target date for sometime in November. We’ll have a definitive date very soon, once we verify w/ the instructors that it works for them. If you’re already signed up, you don’t need to do anything. Come learn the art of bonsai with us! Join us at Halpatter Brewing Company for a fun-filled workshop where you’ll get your very own jade bonsai tree (established for at least 3 months in a bonsai pot), along with the tools you’ll need to trim and shape it, a supply of wire, and enough fertilizer to last you a year and a half. You’ll learn about the history of the art form and get hands-instruction from Jason Schley from Schley’s Bonsai and Supplies in Deland, one of the largest bonsai nurseries in the state of Florida. We can’t wait to share this beautiful art form with you!
