Fall fun is in the air! On Saturday, October 11, the Gateway Art Gallery will be out and about at the Hearthstone Botanical Gardens Scarecrow Festival, one of our favorite seasonal traditions. Stop by our booth and say hello to the Gallery crew! We’ll have a festive booth setup where you can:
- Meet some of our artisans and check out their Fall-inspired and Halloween crafts
- Learn more about the Gallery and our programs and classes
- Enjoy a perfect day in the Gardens surrounded by family fun, food, and autumn vibes
Vote for “Edgar Allan Crow”
Our volunteers have been busy building our entry in the Scarecrow Contest and this year we went with a literary theme: “Edgar Allan Crow.” Last year, the Gallery took home the win in the Businesses/Organizations category with “Vincent Van Crow” and we’re hoping to defend the title this time around with your help! Festival-goers can cast ballots until 1 pm, so be sure to stop by and vote for Edgar to keep the streak alive. We’ll also have a selfie station setup nearby for a photo-op.
Community Engagement
Events like the Hearthstone Scarecrow Festival give us the chance to bring the Gallery out into the community, connect with new friends, and celebrate the creativity that makes our community special.
