Beginning in September, Gateway Art Gallery will be open six days a week—including Mondays!
We’ll take Labor Day off (September 1st), but as of September 8th our doors will be open Monday through Friday from 10 am–5 pm and Saturdays from 10 am–4 pm. (We’ll remain closed on Sundays.) This means more time for you to explore our exhibits, shop local art, sign up for classes, or just surround yourself with art as you enjoy our community Gallery and arts center.
Mondays will now be full Gallery days—answering phones, running classes, and taking care of Gallery business, all thanks to the dedication of our incredible volunteers. We’re so grateful for their energy and enthusiasm, which keeps our Gallery thriving. Their support—and yours!—makes it possible for us to extend our hours and welcome even more visitors into our beautiful space. So whether you’re downtown on your lunch break, showing out-of-town friends the heart of Lake City, or looking for inspiration to start your week, stop in and see us! There’s always something new to discover here at the Gateway Art Gallery—and now you’ve got one more day each week to enjoy it.
Note: Our luncheon and member meeting will still be held on the last Monday of each month at noon. This event is free and public.
