Sheila Carr is a multi-talented artist, composer, and writer. She loves orchetral music and composes music for piano and chamber ensembles, with a particular passion for stringed instruments. She also enjoys cooking, especially Thai cuisine and vegetarian dishes. Little-known fact: Sheila is ambidextrous and can write backwards and forwards with both hands (in cursive, no less!)
Sheila is a well-rounded creative individual, with a wealth of knowledge and experience that she brings to her art and to her career. She is the Curator for the Gateway Art Gallery in downtown Lake City, Florida, where her passion for art intersects her passion for people and community engagement. With a diverse creative background—having been a professional photographer and web/graphic designer for more than 20 years—Sheila currently helps local businesses grow by leveraging the internet and social media, as well as using music in marketing to help them grow and succeed.
