Pat Albala is a creative and versatile artist based in Lake City, Florida. As a senior instructor with the Gateway Art Gallery’s Youth Art League, she specializes in paper art, Zentangle, and wood-based projects, sharing her skills and enthusiasm with students of all ages.
With a degree in education earned in New Jersey in 1971, Pat has spent decades fostering artistic expression — from leading large-scale summer art programs for children to teaching workshops at senior centers in South Florida. At the Gateway, she engages young artists through hands-on, thoughtfully structured classes that encourage exploration and joy in creating.
Her own artwork often features intricate paper designs and unique wood pieces, reflecting her love of texture and form. Through both her teaching and her personal practice, Pat brings energy, warmth, and a deep commitment to making art accessible to the Lake City community.
