We are proud to announce the 18th Annual Wally Reichert Memorial Art Show, a cherished tradition that celebrates creativity, community, and the enduring legacy of one of our founders. This special event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Columbia County Public Library and hosted at the West Branch Library.
Named in honor of Wally Reichert—artist, advocate, and one of the founding members of the Art League of North Florida—this show continues his passionate mission to promote a love of the arts throughout our region. Each year, the exhibit brings together local artists of all backgrounds and skill levels to share their work with the public in a welcoming and accessible setting.
This year’s exhibition opens in June, with a public reception on Tuesday, July 1 at 5:30 pm, where awards will be presented and refreshments will be served. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the artists, enjoying the exhibit, and honoring Wally’s vision.
In addition to cash prizes and ribbon awards, visitors to the West Branch Library will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite artwork for our popular People’s Choice Award. The artist who receives the most votes will win a commemorative trophy, a gift certificate to the Gallery, and of course, bragging rights for the year!
We hope you’ll stop by the library to view the show, cast your vote, and support our local talent. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or simply curious, the Wally Reichert Memorial Art Show is a beautiful reminder of how art connects and enriches our community.
Let’s continue the legacy—see you at the West Branch Library!
