Art enthusiasts and community members gathered at the West Branch library on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 for a reception and awards ceremony honoring the remarkable talent showcased at the 16th Annual Wally Reichert Memorial Art Show. Organized by the Friends of the Library in collaboration with the Art League of North Florida, this event served as a platform for local artists to display their creativity and artistic prowess. There were 82 entries in four categories this year and the competition was stiff! Our Gateway Art Gallery artists showed out, with several bringing home ribbons in each category.
As we celebrate the success of this year’s show, we eagerly anticipate the next installment of artistic brilliance at the ALNF’s next competition in January 2024, which promises to showcase the rich diversity and immense talent that thrives within the artistic community of North Florida.
